The Day and Hour Unknown

As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately. “Tell us” they said when will this happen, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the ages?” This is what Jesus’ disciples asked him about the signs of the end. Are you ready? I ask myself this question constantly. Every day I walk around claiming to be a Christian and hoping in my heart to go to eternal life with my Lord. But I have to seriously check my life. Many of times we walk around beating our chest, thinking that we are walking perfect. We judge others, but how often do we stop and look into our lives. I dread the day when my Savoir comes and all the while thinking I was ready and then he says to me "depart from me I know you not".

Can we not see that we are in the last days that the Lord spoke about? Some people say whatever He will not come, we have been in the last days for centuries. But can you really afford such ignorance. Can you afford to take that chance with the one life you were given. No one knows the time or hour nor day in which the Lord will make his appearance. When we see him in His Glory in the sky it will be too late.

As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. For in the days before the flood, people were eating, and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark. And they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away.

Right now this world is in turmoil, Satan is on a rampage. Do we sit and ponder this life? Do you think about your life and what is taking place around you? At times I divert away from the news because I am sickened by the crimes and violence. The destruction that are happening around the world are unbelievable.

Please do not sit with your eyes closed. Open them up and see. Do you think it is end times when an adult man rapes a child?  http://www.cbc.ca/news/world/story/2013/04/30/india-rape-victim-dies.html Do you believe it is a wicked time when a parent or parents hurt their own children? http://news.nationalpost.com/2013/04/03/couple-convicted-of-manslaughter-after-plot-to-regain-custody-ends-in-fiery-death-of-six-children/  http://www.mississauga.com/news/article/1618690--trial-underway-for-parents-accused-of-killing-daughter Look around at the earthquakes, famines and natural disasters.  I can go on for awhile on all the things that are not right about this world. Look around children (teens) having babies. Fornication and adultery these are normal lifestyle habits of our culture now.

He told his disciples not to let any one mislead you, for many false prophets will come and lead many astray. Jesus told them that wars will breakout near and far. Is this not happening now and has happened?  You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places.
All these are the beginning of birth pains. Jesus taught that the love of many will grow cold- if this was not so right now we would not be killing each other we would be at peace with one another. Jesus said a person outside the house must not go inside to pack. A person in the field must not return even to get a coat. What will happen to you and me in such times?

The only way survive is to have God by your side. To live right and do God’s will, to follow His commands and have your feet planted deep in the roots of Christ. Trust in Him, hope in Him and read His words. Keep watch, stay focus and keep the light on at the lighthouse at all times. There is a story of a rich man who led a selfish life and a poor man name Lazarus. One went to heaven and one into darkness. The rich man wanted to go back from darkness to warn his brethrens about the horror of this place, but could not do so. http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Luke+16%3A19-31&version=NIV Today I am warning you and I am also speaking to myself of that day to come. Live your life to the best of your ability for Christ. Therefore keep watch, because you do not know at what day your Lord will come. Let us pray for one another and those in the world.

Father we come before you because there is no other Lord but you. We ask you today to enter our hearts and show us how to be prepared to meet you on that blessed day. Help us to be pure in our hearts and mind. Let us not be frightened about the things to come because we have Jesus living within us. Help us to have a Spirit of discernment so we will not be deceived by those the devil will send our way. Make the pathway clear for us. Help us to walk upright and not unseeingly, we ask you of these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ our soon coming King.

One Bite- World Malaria Day

Hi everyone,
Today is World Malaria Day so my post today is to inform in this creative manner as a mosquito, which is the cause spread of this. http://blog.compassion.com/malaria-bites-bite-back/

From the moment he kissed me I was hooked. As I look back now and I realized how naïve I was. He approached me with such confident “hey how you doing”. He was dark, lean, and handsome. He had super powers to maneuver his body into such small spaces

“They are so trusting, not realizing that someone as handsome as me can cause such havoc on their lives”. Humans they always love the exotic.world malaria day 2013

I am a world class traveler, but I mostly love to visit the hot Sub Saharan African continent. Where I am from is also very beautiful. I originate from Italy. Yes I am Italian; my original name is mala aria- which means bad or evil. Let me tell you some more about my life. I love flying, but my favorite thing to do is to bite unexpected children, mostly under the age of five.

Then I inject my infectious parasite called plasmodium into their bodies. Then the parasites multiply in their bodies. Then the parasites multiply in the liver and then infect the red blood cells.

I kill 65,000 children a year from malaria. When I have infected you, you may feel feverish, you may have headaches, and you may even vomit. I am an extravert so I love people. I love the ones who live in the poorest countries because they are the most vulnerable to my malaria.

But those humans are trying to cramp my style by having this World Malaria Day. They want you to help do something to intervene. They would like you to know that when you help your donations to this fund will educate family members on malaria prevention, mosquito nets, and treat children suffering from malaria, chagas disease and dengue fever. http://www.compassion.com/malaria-intervention.htm

So are you interested in this dark Italian casa nova?  All it takes is one !

You know I always leave you with a song, enjoy this song by Big Daddy Weave.

Those That Endure

Blessed is he whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered. Blessed is the man whose sin the Lord does not count against him and in whose spirit is no deceit. When I kept silent, my bones wasted away through my groaning all day long. For day and night your hand was heavy upon me; my strength was sapped as in the heat of summer. Then I acknowledged my sin to you and did not cover up my iniquity, I said “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord” and you forgave the guilt of my sin. Therefore let everyone who is godly pray to you while you may be found; surely when the mighty waters rise, they will not reach him. You are my hiding place; you will protect me from trouble and surround me with the songs of deliverance. (Psalm 32:1-7)

I have been having the worst time ever as a Christian lately. The devil has been throwing some serious spiritual warfare on my life. I will not give up I will break all the strongholds that he has put on me in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. My Lord told me that He lives in me and that He has gone to prepare a place for me, but first I will have some fights. I will have some trials, maybe even some deep cuts and I may fall a few times. But He said he that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; to him that over cometh will I give to eat of the tree of life which is in the midst of the paradise of God. (Revelation 2:7) But the one who endures to the end, he will be saved. (Matthew 24:13)

I believe in God and all His promises, even though Satan wants to take me down. Don’t get it twisted he is smart and very cunning, he comes to you bringing gifts but they are all counterfeits. Everything he brings you is not to bring you life but it is to bring you death. The devil is a copy cat, remember that. Everything God promises you he will bring to you something that sounds just as good. But we need to ask the Lord Almighty always for the spirit of discernment and never cease praying. He has many lies to whisper in your ears, when you are having a hard time one of his favorite line is “where is your God now”, or he will try to make you believe that God has forsaken you and left you alone and that He is not keeping the promises he made to you do not believe his lies. Remember Jesus told us that the devil is the father of lies, so that means he is very good at it. The bible also tells us that he comes to kill and destroy.

I told Jesus to please always be with me and that I remember that I made an oath with Him a covenant that I will do my best not to break. He told me that He will never leave me nor forsake me, so do I believe Him or not? You should too because the Messiah is the only key to life, no matter what people are saying there is nothing else but JESUS. No one comes to the Father unless it is through the son.
I want to take back what the old dragon is trying to take from me. I will fight, I will die but the promise of eternal life will be given to me. I can only do my best everyday and ask the Lord to teach me and show me and work with me through His Holy Spirit.

I do not want to be like the ostrich that buries his head. I want my light to shine like the city on the hill. I want to use my talents and gifts for the Lord. I do not want to be like the servant who buried my one talent in the ground.

Sometimes the Lord has to put us through the fire, but then when we come out we are refined like pure gold. John had to be put away to the Isle of Patmos to get the Revelation. Sometimes we need that too; to be strengthened we need to be put on our own Patmos to be given our own revelation(s).

I am pleading today with anyone who may be reading this, that tomorrow is not promised, but if you have today accept Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior. To ask forgiveness of sins and pray and hold on tight to all the things He wants to give you and do not let any demons, angels, or power of darkness, brothers, sisters or anyone take it from you.

Be blessed in the mighty name of Jesus Christ our soon coming king, and remember to surrender all to Him and be humble.

What does it take to a good christian parent?

Hebrews 12:11
No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it.

l love my children dearly and as a mother I would never like to know that anything at all have happen to my children. We laugh and have fun together, but I am finding it difficult some days not to scream and argue with my children

Can you believe that even my six year old has attitude. I find myself saying “look at me- drop the attitude okay” or “go to your room until you find your manners”.
I find that teenage girls in today’s world do not care so much anymore about mannerisms, and they do not live by principles. I had a conversation last night via texting with my teenage daughter. It saddens me that this is the way of communication with our children. I will not get into the details of our conversation, but truly after the talk I cried.

My heart as a mother was overwhelmed. The thought of how she spoke, the words she used, the tone in her mannerism and the way her young unknowing mind perceives this world.
She made a statement to me that went something like: “guess I will learn the hard way or the easy”. What has this society done to our families? When I woke up it was still on my mind. If our children only could penetrate and understand the heart of a true parent. This world is teaching our children and also some parents to spear the rod, and spoil our children.

My family has had many changes and a few really hard days over the past three to four years, but can life be so bad. If my children only knew the tears I have cried at night for my family. I ask Jesus to help us and to protect them and make me a better mother, and wife and Christian, but most of the time I pray for my children. I cried when they are sleeping and I look at their beautiful faces and think how can I do better for their sake?

I am a woman of God and a Christian. How could I say I am Christ like and not follow His words? I encourage mothers and fathers, aunts, uncles any care giver to pray, pray, pray for our children and the world.

Satan wants to split families apart and turn children against parents and parents against children. He wants to devour the future children of God. Darkness will not be in control forever. There is a reckoning coming, and as Christian parents make sure we can stand on that day and know we followed God’s commands. Parents we have to also be an example to our children. But I learn that the only way we can have a happy family and well rounded children is to pray to the lord to help, because He is the only one that can make all things right.

Prayer:  Hi Jesus I know it has been a while, I have been neglectful and somewhat lazy towards you, but Lord I want to do what is right in your sight. I want to serve you with a open and willing heart. I want to know your plans for me and serve you righteously. I am asking you to put creativity back in my life, I am asking you to work in my life and upon my heart remove the veil from my eyes and please help me to see, help my heart to return to you as you are my first true love. Please make me into a good parent, help me to be a living example for my family in Jesus'name. Here are some reads.

Whoever spares the rod hates their children,
but the one who loves their children is careful to discipline them

Am I not worth it?

Am I not worth it? I have given you another day, what have you done with it? If I give you three more or three hundred more what will you do with them? You are not cultivating my vineyard. You are not bearing fruits in your season. The crows have landed on your vines, they are picking and eating your vines. Your vines are being destroyed. Am I not worth it? So why have you not been working in my vineyard? Have you forgotten me? Have you forgotten how much I love you? Have you forgotten that I choose you? I am for you so who can be against you. The hotter the battle the sweeter the victory. Do you you think I will let you fall? So what if you fall, my hand is always stretched out to pick you up. Why have you forgotten your first love and your work? Why have you left me? Am I not worth it? Am I not worth it?

Do you know the voice that makes a difference? I am slowly learning to hear that voice in my Spirit because that is the voice that will lead me. But we have to play our part in order to be able to hear that still voice in our Spirit.

Be still and know that I am God, I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth(Psalm 46:10)

This is the message I received from the Spirit today. On Sabbath I felt so distant from the Lord, heavy with cares of this life. But the message that went out made me stop and think. The pastor made it clear that you can not sit around expecting a blessing or a perfect life and His help, but we are not doing our part. He said sometimes we are wondering why God is not responding to us, but sometimes we are not reaching out with our hearts. These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me(Matthew 15:8)

Burdening down my Spirit with worry , not accepting the things I can not change. When I know why worry when I can pray. Is that not what Daniel did? When the decree went out through the land, he prayed. He did not set up late devising his own plan, no he talked to his Lord. The only Savior, because he knew that he could not save himself. When they told him to bow down and worship the statue/idol, Daniel said no not me. I only worship the true and living God. When his enemies thought they had him in the palm of their hands and he would be eaten by the lions, the Almighty God stepped in and said no not so.  Daniel's enemies were fed to the lions instead.

I am speaking to someone out there. The Lord is your shepherd and you shall not want, He lay you down in green pastures and beside the still waters for His name sake.

Let us not forget Jesus . Let us not get occupied with ourselves and the worries of this world because we have a king called Jesus, who died to save us and to give us life more abundantly. Let us pray for one another and keep reading His words and search for purpose in Him, because it is not us that made ourselves. We are here for His purpose and not to serve our selfish desires.

You understand, O lord; remember me and care for me. Avenge me on my persecutors. You are long suffering- do not take me away; think of how I suffer reproach for your sake. When your words came, I ate them; they were my joy and my hearts delight, for I bear your name O Lord God Almighty. I never sat in the company of revelers, never made merry with them; I sat alone because your hand was on me and you had filled me with indignation. Why is my pain unending and my wound grievous and incurable? Will you be to me like a deceptive brook, like a spring that fails? Therefore this is what the Lord says: If you repent, I will restore you that you may serve me; if you utter worthy, not worthless words, you will be my spokesman, let this people turn to you, but you must not turn to them. I will make you a wall to this people, a fortified wall of bronze; they will fight against you but will not overcome you, for I am with you to rescue and save you declares the Lord. I will save you from the hands of the wicked and redeem you from the grasp of the cruel(Jeremiah 15:15-21)

A song says: “all the way to Calvary He went for me, and now He has set me free, although I had so many sins my Jesus washed them all away and He pardoned me”

Dear Jesus we come before you as we are I pray that you will teach us how to be better citizens of the Kingdom for you, help us to find our purpose in you and deliver us from this evil world, remember those that do not know you yet, give me the Holy Spirit so I may help and do my part for your Kingdom. Amen

It's about Giving

This blog today is about what giving means to me. I am hoping to open the portal to many hearts in regards to the special needs in our world. This blog is linked with Compassion in Jesus' name www.compassion.ca  20 days of giving. Please have a look at the Christmas catalog www.compassioncatalog.htm Giving is sharing of oneself. I know that giving is a gift from God. I think God has to work upon a person's heart to give without expectations.

If it is encouraging, let him encourage; if  it is contributing to the needs of otherslet him give generously,if it is leadership, let him govern diligently; if it is showing mercy, let him do it cheerfully.(Romans 12:8)

Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.(2 Corinthians 9:7)

I know in today's world everyone is under pressure to survive, budgeting every penny. A lot of times we want to give but we hold back, thinking we can not, because we won't have enough. We can not give to receive, then there is no blessing in it for us. If Jesus was always reluctant to give, where would you and I be?

The taste of giving is sweet words pouring from the open jar of the heart. The sound of giving is like deep cords of the cello, which lightens the heart from heaviness. The feelings of giving is wrapped in a blanket with the flickering light of a candle on a rainy night. The colours of giving is the many different creeds and nations that our Lord has made to be apart of His family. So let us learn to give with warmth and love.

For God is the one who gives seed to the farmer and bread to eat. In the same way, he will give you many opportunities to do good, and He will produce a great harvest of generosity in you. Yes you will be enriched so that you can give even more generously. And when we take your gifts to those who need them, they will break out in thanksgiving to God.(1 Corinthians 9:10-11)

Psalm 17

I apologize for not blessing you with my insights lately. I am just a bit busy working on some things for the Women’s Ministry at my church. I hope to soon reconnect with everyone. I want to leave you with a Psalm and some great music, meditate on the Lord and remember prayer is the key and the precious word of God. Be blessed and continually stay connected to the Savoir of your life.

Psalm 17
O Lord, hear my plea for justice.
Listen to my cry for help.
Pay attention to my prayer, for it comes from an honest heart.
Declare me innocent, for you know those who do right.
You have tested my thoughts and examined my heart in the night.
You have scrutinized me and found nothing amiss, for I am determined not to sin in what I say.
I have followed your commands, which have kept me from going along with cruel and evil people.
My steps have stayed on your path; I have not wavered from following you.
I am praying to you because I know you will answer, O God.
Bend down and listen as I pray.
Show me your unfailing love in wonderful ways. You save with your strength those who seek refuge from their enemies.
Guard me as the apple of your eye.
Hide me in the shadow of your wings.
Protect me from wicked people who attack me, from murderous enemies who surround me.
They are without pity. Listen to their boasting.
They track me down, surround me, and throw me to the ground.
They are like hungry lions, eager to tear me apart- like young lions in hiding, waiting for their chance.
Arise O Lord Stand against them and bring them to their knees, rescue me from the wicked with your sword.
Save me by your mighty hand, O Lord, from those who only concern is earthly gain.
May their children inherit more of the same and may the judgement continue to their children’s children. But because I have done what is right, I will see you when I awake; I will be satisfied, for I will see you face to face.
