Christians Live Right- Where Is Our Love

Psalms 15:1-5 Lord, who shall abide in thy tabernacle? who shall dwell in thy holy hill? He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart. He that backbiteth not with his tongue, nor doeth evil to his neighbour, nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbour. In whose eyes a vile person is contemned; but he honoureth them that fear the Lord. He that sweareth to his own hurt, and changeth not. He that putteth not out his money to usury, nor taketh reward against the innocent. He that doeth these things shall never be moved.

A christian is someone who profess belief in Jesus as Christ or following the religion based on the life and teachings of Jesus.Manifesting the qualities or spirit of Jesus; to be Christlike. As Christians we sometimes do not want to put all our effort in reaping the fullness of the life Christ wants us to have or practise. We want our cake and to eat it too. You can not have one foot in the church and the other in the world. There is no middle ground. God should not be mocked. You are either with Him or not with Him.

Yes, this journey is long and sometimes to endure it is a everyday fight, but when Jesus sees that we are trying do you think He will just let us be? NO. He said He will never leave you nor forsake you. 1John 2:15-17 Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in Him. For everything in the world the cravings of sinful man, the lust of his eyes and boasting of what he has and does comes not from the Father but from the world. The world and its desires pass away, but the man who does the will of God lives forever.

I have learned through my short journey as a christian that it is imperative to put God first in everything. You have to give up the flesh to Jesus Christ so that the Holy Spirit can work in you. The Holy Spirit will teach you all there is to learn to be a fruitful christian. It will give you the fruits of the spirit: love, peace, joy, kindness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. I learned that the most important in my life is to learn to LOVE. Love covers a multitude of sins. So when I have that love in me I can learn to be tolerate of everyone. Which is one of the greatest command. To love God and your neighbour as yourself. As Christians we also have a duty to the good news. To tell others about Jesus.Matthew 9:37 Then he said to his disciples the harvest is plentiful but the labourers are few.

I learned that we are called to serve others, we are the Lord's servants. I myself everyday is learning true "christian ship". I have learned that it is important to sow into the lives of other. We need to sow love into  the lives of others. When I look around the world I think dear Lord this is not what you intended for your world. Hungry children, broken families, murder. I myself am Selfish because as Christians in modern world we tend to think of ourselves first. Christians let me say that is what the devil laugh at. If you truly love Christ should you be allowing the devil to laugh at the true master of the world. I need as do all Christians need to learn to put away the flesh and put others before ourselves. That is what God did He gave us His only begotten son. Is that not love.

No man is an island, we need each other. Even Jesus had friends, his disciples. Peter loved Him so much that that when they came to take Jesus he was like no I can't allow you to do that. So he pulled the sword of one of the soldier and chopped off his ear, but what did Jesus do. He healed him and told Peter a man that lives by the sword dies by the sword. Even that soldier Jesus had compassion for even though.

You reap what you sow, how can we ALWAYS want God to bless us when we are not helping others or doing anything to build up the kingdom. Can a man expect to reap all the necessities of life if he does not work. By the sweat of your brow you will eat your food until you return to the ground, since from it you were taken; for dust you are(genesis 3:19). If you are not telling someone about Jesus. If you are not praying regularly. If you are not helpful and kind to others. If there is no compassion in your heart. If you are always just making your own plans and do not consult the Lord. If there is jealousy, envy, hatred, self-serving, discord, and selfishness in your life you need to check out what is going on in your life.

If you are watching, participating, listening, and doing what the world is doing go on bended knees and speak to the Lord about the things that are taking up His space in your heart. As Christians we should be set apart. Unique, a light should shine from us; we should have a glow that will draw others to us.

The kingdom is in you. Christians the world needs us now more than ever. I know it is hard, trust me I fight daily. The dragon tries to oppress me daily, but we can not allow that. Sometimes you know you are in the valley but soon you will reach your promise land. You know that they fight you daily but they will soon be cut off. You are in the tunnel but the Spirit within you lets you know that a bright light is at the end of the tunnel. Christians try and stay strong, pray everyday, and commune with Jesus at all times, praise Him when you are working, washing the dishes, even in despair. Do not give up the good fight.

Revelation

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend blessed with peace, and joy. I had a AWESOME weekend. It was actually mind blowing. So my post today might be extremely long. Be prepared to read a long one today. Let me define to you what is rev-e-lation. The act of revealing or disclosing something revealed not previously known or realized. God's disclosure of his own nature and his own nature and his purpose for mankind, prophesy through the words of human intermediaries.

Have you ever had a question or a series of questions about life. Or as a christian just  feel that you can not move forward in the kingdom. You feel like a "dead man" walking. You know the things you need to do and God has revealed things to you through the Spirit, but your feet are stuck.

You keep on going around and around on the same carousel. Making circles around your life. You ask all the same questions to God over and over, to the point where you just do not know how or what to ask anymore. You ponder within your Spirit, am I asking the right question(s)? Am I really a good christian?, Am I following the life He choose for me?

You go on and on. That is what was happening to me, then I realized through the Spirit I need to come to God with faith, trust, and a open heart. So I may recieve a word from God. That is what I did. I fasted and prayed three times for a day and pleaded with Him. I told Him I know I've come up short of many things, but I need to move forward and I need Him to show me or give the answers to someone else to pass on to me.

Because I needed to know what to do, the world is in turmoil and I know I have His work to do. But there was this blockage. Some how I have blocked myself and regressed in some way. Whether in lack of faith, trust, or I just gave up on trying as much as I use to. I started making my own plans.

I prayed before church and told God I was going to church to worship Him and possibly get a break through. Through out the morning only one song was touching my Spirit. I listened to this song about fifty times. Avalanche by Hillsong, that song broke through to my heart and split my core.So I went to church on Saturday and there was a "prayer room", where children and adults alike go with their requests.

I gave my request. Then everyone left the room and my mother and two other women of faith stayed to pray for my request and another lady's request. The Lord came down in that prayer room like a mighty rushing wind. If there are any out there who do not belief in the true power of God and the Lord Jesus Christ, you need to test Him for yourself. You need to pray for your eyes to be opened to REVELATION(S).

That woman of God under the anointing of the Holy Spirit touched my core when she told me things in my life that no one but the Lord Jesus and God could and would know. He answered all the questions I had and even more than I expected. When the first revelation happened it shocked me into tears. I cried for ten minutes like a baby. I thanked the Lord for all He has done for me and for loving me as He does. We should not be afraid to speak to Jesus. Matthew 7:7-8 Ask and it will be given to you;seek and you will find;knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks recieves; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will opened.
God wants us to have questions for Him. James 1:5 If anyone lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him.He wants us to ask Him about His promises. The Lord is my provider in ALL things and in so many ways and my prince of peace. If we as christians and non-christians can learn to believe and trust Him more the lives we would have. Trust in the Lord. He came to renew ALL things.

Here are a few other scriptures. Jeremiah 29:11-13 For I know the plans I have for you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek with me with all your heart.

Psalms 107:28 Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble, and he brought them out of their distress. I seeked him and I am glad I found Him, Jesus will never let you down. He is the same today, yesterday, and FOREVER.

Hypocrite

As a christian we sometimes think that we are always right and that we are better than the next person. We think we are more righteous than all sinners. Matthew 7:3-5 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy bother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye? How can you  say to your brother, let me take the speck out of your eye, when all the time there is a plank in your own eye. You HYPOCRITE first take the plank out of your own eye then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye.

Wow how does that make you feel( I say within myself). Judge not lest ye be judged. Jesus never covered up the wrong, but he gave everyone a chance to change their ways by preaching the gospel about how to live and love each other.

I use to do this, and at times I still find myself doing it. It is called self righteousness. Which means having or showing an exagerated awareness of one's own virtuosness or rights, a holier than thou attitude, hypocritical, self-satisfied and sanctimonious. Those are the habits of some people that call themselves "Christ like".

I find myself judging others, I judge my family when they do not do right in my eyes. When I think they are not living life up to my standards. I also judge myself, too harshly at times. Are we not our worst own enemy. Instead of asking God to help us with our inner faults. He looks at a man's heart not what he is wearing or if you are bringing the latest Louis Vitton. 1Samuel 16:7 But the Lord said to Samuel do not look on his appearance or the height of his stature, because I have rejected him. For the Lord sees not as man sees: man look on the outward appearance but the Lord looks on the heart.

There was a time that I was always worrying about my beauty and my body and the Spirit told me don't worry about the outside God will beautify the inside and it will shine on the outside of you. Instead of putting each other down let us build each other up, we will become stronger. Before my seperation from my husband I use to think I was the "better one", due to the fact that I was going to church, I had excepted Jesus in my life.

My husband was not a christian he smoked, he swore, and was not sure about faith and church or if there was a God. We spoke down to each other. I started mistrusting him, we were heading in different directions. The bible does say that the unbelieving wife/husband is sanctified through the believing spouse(1 Corinthians 7:14) also 1 Corithians 7:13 says you should not divorce if the unbelieving still wants to live with you. When I found these scriptures I recieved knowledge, but as humans we judge first and we actually make a mess of our lives like that.

Then when I started praying to God he opened my eyes and my heart in a new way. Let us ask God to help us in all our problems, and character faults. Let us ask for a pure heart and let us pray to Him who can open our eyes through the Spirit so we may see Jesus in ALL mankind, not just the ones we choose to like or be kind to. Jesus died for ALL not just for some or for those who are "righteous" the bible says our righteousness is like filthy rags.

So let us not be to full of ourselves. Help each other there are alot of hurt and broken souls out there, young and old. As children of the true living God the Spirit will draw our attention to these sins that try to bind us in the world. He spoke to me through others and through the word. Pray and read your bible and let the Spirit of God work within your heart.
