Emotional Rollercoaster

Lately I have had so many thoughts swimming around my mind. Emotions just won’t give me a break. Right now I am searching, probing to find my Jesus. I want to find my place in His great plan for humanity.
Trials, hurting heart, and troublesome circumstances seem to be taking up my time, heart and mind. Situations seem to be dragging on. I have gone from a spiritual high to a questionable low.
When you have had that personal experience with Jesus, you cannot go back to anything less. You want to hold on to that amazing, unspeakable personal time you’ve had with Him. When a situation escalates and you lose sight, the devil uses that time to put all kinds of road block in your spirit including confusion. This is a hard feeling. You put your spirit on an emotional rollercoaster.
I am trying to find the answer(s) on my own, but truly I cannot. We do not have any of the real answer(s), only God Almighty can provide us with the answer(s) and direct our paths. As human being we are creatures of habits, we easily revert back to our old ways. Thank the Lord for the Holy Spirit which leads and direct us when we are in Christ.
Sometimes we are so hard on ourselves. God has a plan for every man/woman life, and He created us with and for a purpose. I want to try and be more thankful, especially when I awake in the morning. I want to say to myself one more day to try and please God and live the life that counts, peace, purpose and happiness.
Fulfilling all these things is difficult, but there are ways we can try. About.com gave some suggestions on spiritual growth. Read your bible. Attend church services regularly: it is good to associate with others. Get involved in a ministry group: pray and ask God where you should “plug in”. Pray daily: prayer is simply talking to God. Just be yourself, give thanks to the Lord daily for your salvation. Pray for others in need, pray for direction. Pray for the filling of the Holy Spirit in your day.
Do a nice thing for someone in your day; it will also help to enrich you. I also find the melodic voices of inspired artists also help. This week I find myself listening to Jeremy Camp. Doing these things and not giving up will bring you peace, direction and less confusion.
Psalm 15:1-5 Lord, who may dwell in your sanctuary? Who may live on your holy hill? He whose walk is blameless and who does what is righteous, who speaks the truth from his heart. And who has no slander on his tongue, who does his neighbor no wrong and casts no slur on his fellowman. Who despise a vile man but honors those who fear the Lord, who keeps his oath even when it hurts. Who lends his money without usury and does not accept a bribe against the innocent. He who does these things will never be shaken.

We Shall Over Come

Have we given up on spirituality? Have we as men made in the image and likeness of God tossed aside hope, kindness, good deeds, and hard work for a better world and future?
Spirituality: an inner path enabling a person to discover the essence of his/her being; or the deepest values and meanings by which people live.
The world is a cycle, what was is bound to be again. Except in this twenty first century life is scarier than ever before. Men are viler, less tender, less loving to one another, a wicked and treacherous generation. Young men do not set out to make their family proud anymore.
They are not thinking of life, responsibilities, school and learning wisdom. On their minds are sexual immoral thoughts, or how will they get that money fast. Men and women alike are thieves, murderers, and back stabbers, indecent and unjust.
Young ladies are selling a pound of their flesh (bodies) for gains. They are having babies at young ages, even “brawling” like men with each other.
Men are killing children and women, due to differences of beliefs and opinions. Separation of the family is on the rise. We have turned on each other like animals in the wild. Idols are what we worship in this decade (such as cars, money, sex, self-indulgences, and all means of materials).
The importance of the spiritual life does not seem as significant to many anymore. Be careful of Babylon, it can pull you away from the Almighty. The bible does say that in the last days the heart of many will be cold.
Brothers and sisters (I am not speaking only to Christians) that is why we need to pray for each other. Work out our differences; love one another as Jesus intended for us to do. Love your neighbor as yourself and send a prayer through the clouds to heaven for your enemies. Jesus said you should turn the other cheek. Revenge and a heart full of hatred will get you no glory in the end. I am pleading with you today to take refuge in Christ. He died for all, come to Him with all your faults, and He will mend you and give you rest in His bosom.
2 Timothy 3:1-9 (NIV) but mark this: there will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God. Having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with them. They are the kind who worm their way into homes and gain control over weak-willed women, who are loaded down with sins and are swayed by all kinds of evils desires. Always learning but never able to acknowledge the truth. Just as Jannes and jambres opposed Moses, so also these men oppose the truth- men of depraved minds, who as far as the faith is concerned, are rejected. But they will not get very far, because as in the case of those men, their folly will be clear to everyone.
This is our future, how do you feel looking at the future? When I looked at these images I cried "this could be my children or yours one day". Pray for the children of this world if nothing else. These images are from the atlantic.com and  world street children news.

Moving Forward

In times of distress what do you do? When the world spits you out, what do you do?  In sorrow, pain and when people put you down.  Even the ones you put your trust in are against you, what is your course of action?
The place you need to go is in the arms of the Lord. He is waiting with a stretched out hand. Joshua 1:9 Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed for the LORD thy God is with thee withersover thou goest.
My heart has ached so much in the past few weeks. I felt like I would not make it.  I have battled with many demons (problems) in this life. But I am promised a better life in eternity. Weeping endureth for a night and joy will come in the morning. The song says because my savoir lives I can face tomorrow.
I clung to Christ in the best way I knew how. I hung on to His promises to me. He said He would never leave me nor forsake me. He also told me that He is my Sheppard and I shall not want, that He has prepared a table for me in the presence of my enemies.
If there is anyone who has or is feeling like this, do not bow to your circumstances. I can promise you peace from Christ Jesus. Why would you want to give up now? You came this far do not just throw your hands up and hide under a bushel. Ask Him for His help and He will give it to you. Come to Him with faith believing that He will answer your prayers.
2 Corinthians 4:17-18 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory. While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen; for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.
Rick Warren- The Purpose Driven Life: “God has a purpose behind every problem. He uses circumstances to develop our character. Life is a series of problems. Every time you solve one, another is waiting to take its place. Not all of them are big, but all are significant in God’s growth process for you.”
There are many people in this world(agents of Satan) that want to take away your happiness, peace, dreams, joy, and aspirations. They are sent to torment your life so you will give up, but the Lord wants to use these situations to make you strong. Fast and pray and fight the good fight because there is a great gift in the end.
The battle is not yours, it is the Lord’s.

Good morning to all my readers. I will be away until next week.
I hope to come back renewed, with more thoughts and enlightenments.
I thank everyone who has read any of my blogs.
Psalms 144:1-2 blessed be the Lord my strength, which teacheth my hands to war, and my fingers to fight. My goodness, and my fortress: my high tower, and my deliver: my shield, and he in whom I trust: who subdueth my people under me.
Trust in the Lord at all times and He will renew your strength.
