In Jesus' Name

Have you ever experienced the supernatural powers of the great Almighty God? Jehovah Rophe: the Lord who heals. Many people in today modern society still do not believe in the healing power of Jesus Christ.

Believe: to have confidence in the truth, the existence, or the reliability of something. B) To have confidence of faith in the truth of (a positive assertion) give credence to.

A lot of people are walking in this world faithless, even Christians. Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hope for, the evidence of things not seen.

I have had days when I’m faithless and I question the miracles of life. Jesus tells us in many ways to have faith. He also illustrated the faith that others had in the bible. The woman with the issue of blood, she only wanted to just touch the hem of Jesus’ garment (clothing), and when she did with her faith she was healed.

On many occasions Jesus healed. Matthew 21:14 and the blind and the lame came to Him in the temple; and He healed them.

Matthew 21:21-22 Jesus answered and said unto them, verily I say unto you. If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain. Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea, it shall be done. And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer; believing, ye shall receive.

I believe in Devine healing because we have a Devine God.
Luke 1:37 for with God nothing shall be impossible. Luke18:27 And He said, the things which are impossible with men are possible with God.
Ephesians 3:20 Now unto Him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.

Matthew 10:7-8 And as ye go, preach, saying the kingdom of heaven is at hand. Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils; freely ye have received, freely give.

Romans 8:1 But if the Spirit of Him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, He that raised up Christ from dead shall also quicken you mortal bodies by His Spirit that dwelleth in you.

By our faith in Jesus Christ we can do great work for Him. If you need healing in your body, mind, soul, spirit call upon the name of Jesus. Deliverance is in the name of Jesus, who raised Lazarus from the dead.

Trust in Him at all times and He will direct your path.

Mark 16:17-18 and these signs shall follow them that believe; in my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues. They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

Dear righteous and heavenly Father. The one that heals, the one that gives and takes life. The one that sits high and look low.  Your children struggle daily to keep faith and to have hope. Help us to never lose sight of the gifts you have given unto us, through the blood of your son Jesus Christ. Help us to do your work, make disciples of us. There are many in the world that needs our help, in Jesus’ name.  Amen.

Appreciation

Do we really appreciate what God has given to us? I believe the answer is no.  I do not think that I have the slightest understanding of what God gave to us here on earth. The weather was so sweet today. The wind played a melody with the leaves from the trees. It blew my hair to hug my face.
I sat watching my daughter and my nephew play so joyously. I laid back and savor the cool breeze and thought, how often do we relax and relish in the nature God gave to us.

I am guilty of not appreciating all the wonderful things in nature that God gave to each of us. How often do we sit in front of a computer, or place ourselves in front of a television.

Why not take a summer night walk and look up at the stars. Take a brisk walk in the winter and let the cold air chase away sadness. Find a park and read our bibles, or a good book.

Why are we so scared to get wet in a spring shower that can wash away our tears? This is something I would like to teach myself to do again. When I was a stay at home mother, I use to go for a morning walk with my daughter. My husband and I would take the children for an evening walk to the park after supper. My family use to look forward to a heavy snow fall in the winter months. We would pack on our jackets, mitts, and boots. The best feeling is the snow crunching under our feet and the dazzling  icicles hanging from the trees.

Now we are too taken up now in Satan’s world of business. Not enough time for family or to enjoy life. We live to work. That is what he wants; for us to be too busy and too tired to enjoy God. As children of God we should not be living like this. He created us wonderfully and gave us this beautiful world to enjoy with the people we love. Creation was a gift.

Psalm 8:3-9
When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars which you have set in place. What is man that you are mindful of him, the son of man that you care for him? You made him a little lower than the heavenly beings and crowned him with glory and honor. You made him ruler over the works of your hands; you put everything under his feet. All flocks and herds and the beasts of the field. The birds of the air and the fish of the sea, all that swims the paths of the seas. O Lord, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth.

Lord we thank you for waking us up this morning. . Help me to be courageous and strong. Thank you for the rain that washes away all the things that are not needed and for watering the trees and flowers. Help me to be mindful today and not waste the day. Send the latter rain upon all of us in Jesus’ name Amen.

New Day

Luke 16:19-31
“There was a rich man
* who dressed in purple garments and fine linen and dined sumptuously each day.20And lying at his door was a poor man named Lazarus, covered with sores,21who would gladly have eaten his fill of the scraps that fell from the rich man’s table. Dogs even used to come and lick his sores.22When the poor man died, he was carried away by angels to the bosom of Abraham. The rich man also died and was buried, 23 and from the netherworld, where he was in torment, he raised his eyes and saw Abraham far off and Lazarus at his side.24And he cried out, ‘Father Abraham, have pity on me. Send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue, for I am suffering torment in these flames.’25Abraham replied, ‘My child, remember that you received what was good during your lifetime while Lazarus likewise received what was bad; but now he is comforted here, whereas you are tormented.26Moreover, between us and you a great chasm is established to prevent anyone from crossing who might wish to go from our side to yours or from your side to ours.’27He said, ‘Then I beg you, father, send him to my father’s house, 28 for I have five brothers, so that he may warn them, lest they too come to this place of torment.’29But Abraham replied, ‘They have Moses and the prophets. Let them listen to them.’30 He said, ‘Oh no, father Abraham, but if someone from the dead goes to them, they will repent.’31Then Abraham said, ‘If they will not listen to Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded if someone should rise from the dead.

Jesus came so we can have everlasting life. He came to let us know of the kingdom of heaven, to bring us back in union with God the Father from sin, shame, and suffering.

Just as Lazarus longed for food, so also Jesus long to feed and quench our thirst with Spiritual food.

John 4:14
But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.

Just as the rich man, if you and I do not make the correct choices on this earth to live a righteous and purposeful life there will be consequences for our actions. I am trying everyday to make the right choices in my life. I cannot do this on my own I need Jesus Christ for that. What do you choose for yourself tomorrow maybe too late? The rich man would do anything to go back and change his ways and warn his brothers. Sometimes the next day is too late.

Lord you are our Savoir, our provider. Only you can bring us to that place where we will never thirst again. Lead us to the everlasting spring of life. Help us to not be selfish and self-serving. Help us to think of others and to serve in the same way you serve. Let thy will be done in our lives as you will it, in the name of Jesus Christ.
